Presented as part of ‘Contemplation Room Project’, Gallery Overgaden, Copenhagen, Denmark, initiated by Cecilie Gravesen, Lasse Johansson and Kristine Agergaaard. Artists from various disciplines were invited to look for alternative ways of using public space.
A number of everyday objects were sent to the Gallery with instructions for visitors to take one and release it at a place of their choice. The idea was to disperse the objects throughout the city, for other people to find, take, live with for a while and release again. A label with contact details of this website were attached to the object for the person finding, tracking the objects’ story as it travels from one person to another.
